Registering As A Member

Some pages or downloads on this website contain confidential information. Those that do can only be seen by Registering with the church.

MEMBER'S BENEFITS

1. Access to confidential information, rotas and minutes of meetings;
2. A complete church Internal Email system;
3. Any number of Forums (groups) may be set up eg Prayer groups, young people, rotas.  They allow simple communication to the whole group. Forum members may come and go easily. Currently St James' has not formally set any of these up through the website.
4. Members Profile pages. Personal information and photos may be lodged. Others can see what Forums you are a member of.

TO LOGON AS A MEMBER
Merely enter your Username and Password in the Login Here box on the left.

If you have forgotten contact the Webmaster. They look at requests every few weeks. They can trigger the system to send one to your email address. The Webmaster will not know this. It is usually best to change this to one that you will remember easily.

TO REGISTER
First Registration will need you to have a valid email address to which your password can be sent. In order to Register with the church please either click the Members tab or Register option on the Login Here panel at the bottom left:

YOUR PASSWORD
After you have followed the instructions an email will be automatically sent to the Webmaster. They will check out who you are -usually by meeting you at the church. If approved the system be triggered to send a password to you which ensures your authorised access. The Webmaster will not know your password. Your password can then be used to enter the protected parts of the website. If desired your Password may be changed by you to something convenient for you to remember.

As with all passwords please do not disclose it to others.
