First Priority Prayer Meeting

8pm FIRST TUESDAY OF EVERY MONTH
(and repeated on Wednesday mornings)

Life is full of demands for our time. We can be drawn into so many distractions in our lives that we think that we nolonger have time to pray. Indeed the famous18th century Irish Anglican politician Edmund Burke pointed out:

''All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing''

He was a prayerful and wise man (in that order). He was right: if we don't put prayer as our first priority when times are easy will we just turn to God when times are hard ? What relationship with our Heavenly father will that be ? Of course He never turns us away when we call upon Him but how much more in harmony with God's plan will our lives be if we pray first and act after we understand what Our Father's will is for us?

So let's get our priorities right..

..and there's sung worship too !
